Dear Customer:
 
We again would like to thank you all for participating in our survey regarding the Province-wide mandatory smoking ban that is going to be imposed upon all of Ontario on June 1, 2006.  Your input has provided us with the necessary information to make adjustments that will allow you to continue to enjoy your bingo.  We shall attempt to try new methods of delivering our bingo programs to you that provide flexibility and convenience.  This will permit you to have your cigarette outside while not missing out on your bingo.  Listed below are your responses to the survey and our solutions:
 
1.  Customer Survey Response:  Customers want cigarette breaks during Full Card Games.
 
     OUR SOLUTIONS:
 
SOLUTION #1 - For a nominal fee of $2.00 (equal to our cost), you will be able to put the book that you dab that is purchased at the sponsor’s booth into a “BREAK BUDDY”.  This machine will only play the book you are dabbing and will allow you to go outside to have a cigarette break when it is convenient for you.  We do suggest however that the best time to leave your machine for a break would be during full card games in order for you to be present to call your bingo.  These “BREAK BUDDIES” will be available at our current Ted Station near the office.  
 
What is a "BREAK BUDDY" ?

AFTER YOU PURCHASE YOUR BOOK AT THE FRONT DESK ON JUNE 1st COME AND GET ME RIGHT HERE AT "THE BREAK BUDDY BOOTH".  A STAFF MEMBER WILL PROGRAM YOUR PURCHASED BOOK INTO ME.
YOU CAN USE ME AS YOUR PERSONAL ASSISTANT  IF YOU NEED TO STEP OUTSIDE FOR A CIGARETTE.  I COME CHEAP AT ONLY $2.  SIMPLY PUT ME BESIDE YOUR BOOKS AND WHEN YOU COME BACK IN I WILL SHOW YOU HOW CLOSE YOU ARE TO WINNING YOUR BINGO PATTERN IN YOUR PURCHASED BOOK.  YOU CAN THEN CATCH UP & DAB THOSE NUMBERS AND YELL THOSE FAMOUR WORDS WE ALL LOVE TO HEAR.

The current TED machines you have been using will still be available at the same price offering you 1 or 2 books to be loaded into the TED machine the same way you do now.  These will be sold at the new TED booth.
SOLUTION #2 - In addition to our normal paks on the night programs, we will also be offering a discounted book to dab just the regular games but will still include the final jackpot game.  This will allow you to have even more cigarette breaks during special/full card games while your TED plays these specials.  The daytime books and procedures will remain the same with both the brown book and blue paks being offered.
 
FULL CARDS  will be evenly distributed throughout the programs which will enable you to go outside for a break more frequently while your TED or "BREAK BUDDY" plays your cards.
2.  Customer Survey Response:  Customers requested Progressive & Super Jackpots be put into the TED's.
OUR SOLUTION:  Progressive and Super Jackpots will now be offered in both the TED's and "BREAK BUDDY" in a 3 strip format.  This will allow you to go outside for a break while your machines are playing these games.  We will also be playing the Progressive Game for a Full Card Only allowing you even more time for a break.
3.  Customer Survey Response:  Customers would like a Rain/Wind Shelter at the Hall.
OUR SOLUTION:  In order to make your outside cigarette breaks as enjoyable and comfortable as possible, we are currently building an additional shelter at the Southwest exit of the building to protect you from the winds and the elements.  We will keep you posted on the developments.
